In today's work packet you will read and answer questions on Ladybug Comprehension. Read through the story with Mrs. Ryan, then complete your own page.

my kids they were going to talk about the last page on your work packet and it I have it up here for us it is called ladybug comprehension remember that big word comprehension let's clap it means that you understand ladybug comprehension it says read the story answer the questions that we're going to I'm going to make some notes on it for us here let's read the first sentence together do you see a lot of sight words that you know here's the word ladybug that's a pretty long word classic with me ladybug 3 three claps for ladybug three syllables I see a little ladybug let's look at this word in the next line I put a dot under each letter to remind us to say each sound let's say the sounds this word red now let's read the whole sentence it is red with. you can color your ladybug and color it red with dots let's see what it says that it crawls the leaf now we're going to look at this last word remember what the at the ends does the e at the end makes the vowel say its name so this is going to stay a a hake I take it to show Mom all right let's read the whole thing together and make it a little bit bigger all right I'm going to underline while we read so that we can all stay together read it with me I see a little ladybug it is red with. It crawls the leaf I take it home to sew mom now when you have your pack it out maybe you have it out now I want you to read the whole thing through making it match and then the bottom here you're going answer the questions and Prince comprehension you understand what you read I'm going to read the questions for you question number one what do you see let's see what it says it says I see a little ladybug what do you see ladybug what color is the ladybug it is red with. So what color is it red red number 3 what does it crawl read the story to see what it crawls on and you can find the word in the story that you need to write on the line what does it crawl on you know all right do a good job on all of your work today
