Writer's Workshop

Your student now has their Writer's Workshop folder at home. There are 3 blank pages they can use. They can also do their writing on any paper you have at home. You can also download more of the pages from their folder at the bottom of this page.

 

You and your child can choose on some days to do a page of writing instead of a Language Arts or Phonics worksheet from the packet. Just leave that page blank and turn in the page of writing with the packet. You can also do writing in addition to their work any day. Most of the kids really enjoyed the writer's workshop time in class.

 

Use your yellow pages in your folder for sight words and sentence starters:

 

You can write about things you are doing at home, things you want to do, your family, your pets, anything!
