Hello everyone, my name is Elizabeth Stilgebouer but my students call me "Stilge", I am your Avery Middle School Counselor.  As a new member of the Avery family I am soooo excited to work all of our wonderful students and families.  Middle school is a developmentally important time in our students personal and academic growth, and I am here to assist our kiddos process through this thing called life as a middle school student.  This year I will be facilitating student groups focusing on various topics like social skills, grief, bullying, anger management, mindfulness techniques, and academic growth. I will also work individually with students and have an open door policy and encourage all students to peek in when they feel the need for a quiet space to unwind, someone to talk to, or just to say hello.
