Rebecca Williams - Hawk PE

Rebecca  Williams was raised by teachers (mother, father, aunts, grandmother) and grew up in a family that loves kids. She moved to Calaveras County in 1983 and attended Michelson Elementary and Bret Harte High School. In 1990 she began training in the weight room that was Kline's Fitness Center (now Big Trees Fitness in Arnold). This love of learning about the human body and exercise drove her to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University. She continued to study at Sacramento State University earning a teaching credential as a Physical Education Specialist, and then a Master's degree in Exercise Science. Rebecca spent 5 years teaching both elementary and middle school grades in Greenfield (south of Salinas), South Lake Tahoe, and Sacramento. When she and her husband, Troy married and had their first son, Jacob, they moved back to Calaveras County adding Kenna, Mason, and Jett to their family. Rebecca joined the Avery family in 2015. She continues to teach all students in the school, as well as coach cross country and volleyball.
