Independent Study

The Vallecito Union School District Governing Board believes that it is important for all students to attend school on a daily basis in order to access the full breadth and depth of the presented curriculum and benefits from the expertise of highly trained teachers delivering the instruction.  For that reason independent study contracts have been discontinued at VUSD.

 

In special circumstances in which your family situation warrants a flexible, independent study program model of instruction, we would refer you to the California Department of Education - Independent Study link for information and resources on Independent Study Programs.
