Vallecitio Union School District administration has had recent reports of extremely concerning communications by some of our elementary and middle school students through the anonymous online gaming platform Roblox. These student conversations, occurring in chatrooms while at home involve topics including, suicide ideation, inappropriate sexual conversations and cyberbullying. VUSD has strong firewalls in place to block these types of anonymous online gaming sites and protect students during the school day. Working with Neptune Navigate, our online safety platform, we have issued an alert for parents to provide information to ensure your child’s safety when they are using technology at home.
