An opportunity for 8th graders to be individually matched with a trained high school mentor. This provides and opportunity for our students to talk about high school, other teen issues or fears, and have fun! FNL Mentoring gives students comfort and confidence about transitioning to high school, increase in their self-esteem and techniques to resist peer pressure. Once students commit to the program it is important that they attend every session. 20 weeks long. Students are able to take the Bret Harte late bus home on these meeting days.
