Employment Opportunities

Welcome to the VUSD Employment Opportunities page!

Working at VUSD requires a big heart because we are family here–we support each other and the students in our care. It also requires a can-do attitude because we’re a small district and “other duties as assigned” regularly interrupt whatever we’re working on. Finally, it requires a great sense of humor, because humor helps us keep everything in perspective.

We work hard. We care about quality. We tell it like it is. And we have a lot of fun.

Unlike some places in California, we get four distinct seasons. Summers are warm and winters bring snow. In winter, although you will need to get up early to scrape the ice off your car windshield on some mornings, you’ll also be treated to stunning views and the chance to engage in all sorts of winter sports and activities.
