Mrs. Joan Perry
All means all ... education sees the potential in each child ... and strives to provide engaging and meaningful lessons and activities to enrich the learning potential in everyone.
As an education specialists my job is to ensure academic, social, and behavioral growth for all students within the varied learning environments at school.
I bring to teaching over 20 years of experience at all grade levels (even college). In those 20 years, the most valuable lesson I have learned is that all children want to be appreciated for who they are, all children want to be challenged, and every child wants to see in my eyes the vision of what I know they can become.
On a personal note, my husband and I live in Arnold with our sweet dog Hannah. I love the mountains and escape to Yosemite and the High Sierra Mountains whenever I can. We have two grown daughters. One is a researcher with the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the other is a professional photographer.
I am thrilled to work at Michelson and to be part of the Vallecito School District Family.
